Edge of winter

As our days are cooling down in Australia
so it was fun to make this card.
I used a Penny Black stamp,
stamped onto glossy card stock after
inking my background with distressed inks.
A memory box woodland die was used and
Snow Tex added to my card for the snow.

My card is inspired by a movie called
Edge of Winter
[it's a thriller...good movie]

Do not know the movie, but your card is wonderful. Here the days will be warmer. I expect (and hope) we can have the birthdayparty outside in the garden!! Fingers crossed. It's now 04:46 in the Möring and I am working (little break Now)
Hugs,
GerJanne

A terrific card. Love the scene you have created. Also I like the two tone sentiment. Will store that idea away and use it myself later.
It's cold wet & windy down here. Our first taste of winter.

Brrrr, I can almost feel the cold with this gorgeous snowy card! Lovely birds singing away on their branch. The inking and Snow Tex make this a really wintry card. I've not heard of the film before but just read the plot and it does sound good. Debra x

Oooooh, Annie! I suppose your winter season is the perfect inspirational time to create winter-themed Christmas cards! LOVE the shading of blues on your glossy card stock - I have not done that for a very long time. The trees bring incredible texture and dimension, especially with the use of black inking and the stamped branches behind. WOW! If I was one of the little birdies sitting on your branch in this pretty card, I would be singing my heart out, too! BEAUTIFUL card, Annie! hugs, de
